Synopsis
The plot of the game takes place two months after the events of Resident Evil, 12 in Raccoon City, a fictional town located in mountainous areas of the US Midwest.13 The majority of its inhabitants have been transformed into zombies by the virus -T, a biological weapon secretly developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella.14 15 The plot centers on Claire Redfield, a young woman looking for her missing brother Chris, and police officer Leon S. Kennedy, who arrived to the city since that moment coincided with his subject to the Raccoon City Police Department, being his first day at work. When they arrive in Raccoon, they both go to the city police department to protect themselves from the zombies.14 Inside the facilities they realize that most of the officers are dead16 and they also find out, by means of a newspaper Abandoned personnel on the site, that Chris left the city to investigate Umbrella's headquarters in Europe.17 Before leaving the city, both Claire and Leon split up in order to search for survivors
